Remembrance Day
At 11am on the 11th of November, Australians pause to reflect on the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front in 1918. Originally known as Armistice Day, this solemn occasion, now Remembrance Day, honours all who served and sacrificed in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. RSL WA encourages everyone to observe one minute of silence to remember their courage and resilience. While not a public holiday, commemorative services are held nationwide, reminding us of the enduring hope for peace. You can purchase your poppy in centre on 7 November.
